Grand Hotel Cala Rossa

This hotel is anchored at the far tip of Porto Vecchio Bay, guaranteeing peace and quiet yet only a short drive from Porto Vecchio. The Cala Rossa stands in extensive grounds and gardens, which lead past the superb terraces to the beach, where you will find a bar, comfortable beach mattresses and umbrellas, and also many water sports. The cuisine at the Cala Rossa is renowned all over the island. There is a buffet lunch under the pines, with grills and fish, and there is a gastronomic menu at dinner, which is served more formally outside to guests wanting to enjoy the gardens, or in the attractive restaurant. The lounges and other hotel rooms are stunning—white walls with delicate pastel colours highlighted in furniture and fabrics, with touches of tiling here and there and imaginative wall decorations. The aquarium with its many colourful fish will keep young children interested for hours. The décor of the bedrooms is equally elegant. They are fully equipped with all facilities and a few have terraces opening to the gardens. Please note: that despite the nearness to the beach, most bedrooms have garden, rather than sea views. The hotel has a health spa, for which a supplement is charged, with a sauna, a spa, a pool, a fitness room, a hair salon and a beauty room offering massage and other treatments.
